SOCIETY
“Honesty has ceased to be seen as a virtue, and with its decline, our society risks a future of moral numbness’
William Damon, Defining Ideas
As we strive for achievement and success, so much of our time is consumed in thought and study of the complex that we seldom take time for the simple, simple things, the little things that are in reality, the basis upon which we build and without which a strong foundation cannot exist.
A structure can soar into the sky, and we may marvel at it because of its great stature and height, but it can only stand if its foundation is anchored with stones or steel and concrete.
Indeed, there can be awareness in many key areas of contemporary life, law, business, politics, etc. Such perception is a guarantee of personal dishonesty. and give in to interpersonal distrust. When we no longer assume that those we communicate with are at least trying to tell the truth, we leave them as trustworthy and just precisely deal with them. Moral obligations vanish and the laws of the jungle appear.
Some will admit it is morally wrong to be dishonest in big things, yet believe it is excusable if those things are of lesser importance. Is there any difference in principle between a little white lie and the perjury of a witness in a court of law or before a congressional investigation committee under oath? Are there degrees of dishonesty, depending upon whether or not the subject is great or small?
Indians have a thoroughly different idea of life. It is like a game of Kabaddi – All people
conspire together to take down the one person who stood up to move ahead.
Society is funny. They ask you to be yourself, but they judge you. The closest example I can get is if I write an essay with all the tenacity I can muster, I’ll be blamed “for failing to achieve another goal, if I try to get ideas from the internet to make it more interesting and interesting, it will be called “plagiarism.” People will always be better and brighter, but they will never be able to compete with the little flame child of a sincere desire to fulfil and a desire to prove to everyone that “others”, will never be “you”. The fact that you can never please society is an, In other words, society itself has set its expectations too high.
Truth be told, the most beautiful people I have ever met are all tattooed and pierced, and the most critical are those who go to Mass every Sunday. It is no coincidence that the growth of prejudice in every case heralds the growth of modern tyrants. In the absence of a sound theory, social development remains largely a process of trial and error, with high rates of prejudice and very uneven progress. The conceptual mind is the highest and most conscious part of a human being, conceptual knowledge is
Organize ideas with the power of your mind. This conceptual knowledge is most powerful when organized into a system, or community.
Human development is a function of a person’s consciousness, aspirations, attitudes and values. Like all human creative processes, it is a process of self-design. As writers, artists, composers, political visionaries, and entrepreneurs conceive of unrealized possibilities and deploy creative energy to manifest them, the social collective develops notions of unrealized possibilities. what they want to be by expressing their creative energy through various forms of Activity. find ways to turn their ideas into social reality. The only major difference is that while the individual is sometimes aware of the design he is trying to embody, society at large is unaware of the idea and the urge to create something more out of potential. it’s potential. It means consciously expressing the aspirations and needs of the group. This essential role is played by avant-garde individuals, visionary intellectuals, political leaders, entrepreneurs, artists and spiritual seekers who are inspired to express and achieve what the collective aspires and is unconsciously prepared for. Where the leader’s aspirations and actions do not reflect the collective will, they will be ignored or rejected. It is systematically endorsed, imitated, advocated, and propagated when it represents a deeply felt collective need. This is most evident in times of war, social revolution or community conflict.
India’s early freedom fighters consciously supported the goal of freedom from British rule long before it became a popular aspiration. Leaders have spent decades pushing a reluctant population to conceive of itself as a free nation and to aspire to achieve the dream, When finally they endorsed this conception, no foreign nation had the power to its will on the populace of India.
For this reason, as a whole community, we must become bigger than we have been, more courageous, greater in spirit, larger in outlook. We must become members of a new race, overcoming petty prejudice, owing to our ultimate allegiance not to nations but to our fellow people within the human community.
